Shifting Trends
Mar 04, 2011 01:09:16 PM | jtownsend
-
- Last week, we launched our first shuttle mission in nine months and first of the remaining three space shuttle missions. Given the lull in shuttle missions and the ramp-up to the end of the space shuttle era, we weren't shocked to see an increase in traffic on the website.

Hello? Can you hear me now?
Jan 21, 2010 03:49:13 PM | jtownsend
-
- We heard a lot of feedback based upon the NASA TV Schedule changes we recently made through the comments on the blog post introducing it, through the replies on Twitter and through the NASA Web site e-mail. Most of it had one big complaint with what we did and we heard it loud and clear. Most of you who wrote in would like to see a rundown list of programming that is being carried live instead of having the scroll through so many hours of programming in the new interface.

NASA Chats Help to Make it a 'Small World (After All)'
Nov 19, 2009 08:59:18 AM | jtownsend
-
- Maybe Walt Disney was right when he commissioned the song, “It’s a Small World (After All)” in the 1960s. At the time, commercial aircraft and other modes of transportation were beginning to bring folks together from the furthest reaches of the planet as never before. Fast-forward to the 1990s when the spread of the Internet made the world an even smaller place.
